Kaspersky
Identity and access management and incident response systems.
From 2021 to 2022, I worked at Kaspersky as a Senior Software Engineer, developing internal infrastructure for identity and access management and incident response automation.
I joined with several years of production Go experience at a time when Go adoption within the company was still relatively early, and contributed to establishing engineering practices around the language alongside my product work.
My work focused on two systems: an in-house IAM platform based on OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect, and an incident response platform built around Temporal workflow orchestration.
Selected work
Identity and Access Management
→ Designed and implemented Kaspersky’s in-house IAM system, partially based on a fork of ORY Hydra, with substantial protocol modifications while remaining compliant with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
Incident Response
→ Developed an incident response platform based on Temporal workflow orchestration, including a custom-designed DSL for defining and executing response workflows.
Go Engineering Practices
→ Helped establish Go engineering practices within the company, including coding standards, interview tasks, shared internal libraries, and development conventions.
